Having a professional bridal team that has done makeup and hair for weddings, that can work well under the pressure of delivering bridal makeup and hair on the wedding day is key.

THE BRIDAL BEAUTY BOOKING PROCESS WITH BLUSHED
When you book your bridal beauty services with us for your wedding day there is much more that goes into it than just makeup and hair.
From your first initial inquiry to your wedding day services, we are there for it all. We want to make your wedding day run as smoothly as possible.
SECURING YOUR WEDDING DAY SERVICES
If your date is available we will secure your booking with a 15% deposit fee and a signed contract. We send all of our brides a full quote by email. Deposit fees are sent by EMT (etransfer) to blushedmakeupbeautybar@gmail.com (AUTO DEPOSITED) You will receive a receipt, your booking along with your contract (to be signed) and info forms in your booking. You will send your bridal party their info form links to fill out.
We create quotes for all of our brides and bridal parties, this will be based on all information provided. For bridal beauty quotes, we need a list of everyone receiving services along with what services they are booking.

All bridal trials are held at our studio location with your bridal beauty artists. We will do a full consultation and your bridal makeup and hairstyle of choice. Once your makeup and hair is done we will then hand you a mirror and leave the room, this way you can pick it apart to see what needs to be changed. We can then make those changes on location and make notes of everything that was done, products used and changes to be made for the wedding day.
Bridal trials are for our brides only, we don't offer bridal trials for bridesmaids or mothers of the bride/groom. Typically if anyone else in the bridal party would like to see their makeup and hair prior to the wedding, they can book in with us for makeup and hair to see their desired look. We only book bridal trials for our brides whose wedding is already booked with us. We will make accommodations for brides who would like a bridal trial before securing their wedding day. But prices will not be discounted as a bridal trial and will be the regular price.
WEDDING DAY PLANS
There are bridal info forms and bridal party info forms that are sent out with all bridal beauty bookings, send each member that is receiving services their link to fill out. In there will be all of their personal information along with photos, makeup and hair inspiration photos, and everything we need to know about each lady receiving makeup and hair services.
We use all the information from the bridal info forms from you and your bridal party to create your wedding day plan and timeline for your day. This will have everything from photos for everyone to a detailed schedule and timeline for the day of, start time, end time, schedule for makeup, and hair with a spot for each bridal party member.

BRIDAL MAKEUP AND HAIR INSPO
Having inspiration photos for your bridal beauty look is a great start. You and your bridal party can save your inspiration photos for your artists. We will curate your bridal beauty look based on your inspo photos. Look for bridal makeup and hair photos that are similar to the styles that you like, also look for similar hair colors and skin tones to get a better idea of exactly how it will look on you.
It is best to choose a few photos for each makeup and hair, you can choose specific details about each photo that you like to customize a look that's best suited for you. Try looking for makeup and hair photos that you don't like to have a clear vision of what you do not like for bridal makeup and hair, have a detailed list for your artists on what you dislike and also anything specific you would like to cover up or correct. Create a Pinterest board of bridal makeup and hair inspiration photos that you like and that you don't like and share it with your bridal beauty team.

BRIDAL BEAUTY PLAN
We have created a bridal beauty plan for all of our brides and bridal parties, this has everything you need to prepare for the day of. Planning and preparing for your wedding day is no small task, add your bridal beauty plan into your wedding planning to have yourself looking and feeling your personal best on your wedding day.

It's very important that all of our brides and bridal parties have a consistent skincare routine, to drink your 62 ounces of water daily and take your vitamins in order to prepare your skin and hair for the best results on your wedding day. To avoid any unwanted skin blemishes, make sure to not add or change your skincare routine more than a month before your wedding day.
HAIR EXTENSIONS & HAIR EMBELLISHMENTS
Make sure you order any hair extensions or hair embellishments for your wedding prior to your bridal trial. If you're unsure about hair extensions make sure to confirm that your hair extensions will work for your hairstyle. We recommend clip-in hair extensions for all hairstyles that will be down or half down, if you are looking for a bridal updo, you can opt in for a ponytail hairpiece that would attach to your ponytail once your hair is up.
BRIDAL TRAILS
You need to book your bridal trial a month or two prior to your wedding day. Make sure you have your hair extensions, hair embellishments, and bridal veil for your bridal trial. Try on your wedding dress with your makeup and hair to see it all together.
All bridal trials are for brides who are booked with us for their wedding day. Every bride must come to her bridal trial at our studio location. You must come to your bridal trial prepared and with everything for your wedding day.
Bridal Trial Requirments:
Bring all hair extensions, hair embellishments, and your veil.
Wear white for your trial
Arrive with your hair washed, blow dried, and smoothed out.
Arrive with a clean face with no makeup for makeup applications.
If you are receiving just hair, arrive with your makeup done.
If you are receiving just makeup, arrive with your hair done.
Have all inspo photos for makeup and hair ready.
Have photos of your wedding dress available.
Have a clear idea of what you don't like with makeup and hair or what you would like cover up or correct.

Make sure that your makeup and hair hold up all night on your trial day. If any adjustments need to be made with your makeup and hair, make sure your artists are aware of these changes. This could be any number of things, we want you to feel and look amazing and we will do or change whatever you need. We will follow up after your bridal trial by email to make sure everything held up and if something didn't we can make all necessary adjustments or changes in our notes.
PRE-BRIDAL ESTHETICS
We offer esthetic services to our bridal clients only. We offer customized facials, brow treatments and waxing services prior to the wedding day, in the studio. This allows you to be fully prepared for your wedding day and your makeup and hair appointments.
We offer facial treatments specific to your skin needs and concerns, as well as facial packages with 6 facial treatments, typically one every 4 weeks leading up to your wedding.
We also offer VIP facial treatments on the morning of the wedding. We will bring our skincare spa bed and facial equipment and tools to your getting ready location or held in the studio.
We do offer mini mani & pedicures on the wedding day, this is a great add on for flower Girls to add to their hair and makeup or for anyone in the bridal party who forgot to get their nails done.
HAVING A CONSITANT SKINCARE ROUTINE
Everyone should have a consistent skincare routine, this can be as simple as a cleanser and moisturizer. Also using the proper skincare for your skin type, every day is key to clear and glowing skin.
Every bride should have a gentle cleanser suited for their skin type, a moisturizer also suited for your skin type along with a gentle gel exfoliate that can be used 2 x a month.
Having a consistent skincare routine that you are using every AM & PM is the key to clear skin. Also, eating clean, drinking 62 oz of water daily along with taking your daily vitamins and probiotics.
Being aware that changing or adding new skincare to your routine can cause purging of the skin, random and aggressive acne and blemishes that appear in places you don't normally break out and this can last anywhere from a month to 2 months before your skins ph levels balance out. This is a normal process when changing or adding new skincare products. We advise that anyone adding new products to do so a year to 6 months prior to the wedding day.

We use all organic and clean skincare for our facials and skin prep, with aloe vera based properties that are gentle for all skin types and ideal for sensitive skin.
All of our skin prep products are Aloette Cosmetics and we use the Enzyme Peel to prep all skin before makeup.

We also offer rentals of the bridal suite to bridal parties on their wedding day. For bridal parties receiving makeup and hair on the wedding day without a spot to get ready, our bridal suite is available for rentals. Prices vary and are based on the number of people attending.
We also have add ons that are available to add to your bridal suite rental to upgrade your bridal experience. There is food and drinks that you can order to make sure that everything is covered for the morning of.

MEN’S GROOMING & STYLES
We offer Men's services for the groom and groomsmen for the day of. There are two options for men, the Men's Grooming package and Men's Styles.
The Men's Grooming Package includes a mens facial and skin prep, beard clean up, blowout and hairstyle. Men's Styles includes a blowout and hairstyle of choice.
The Groom and Groomsmen should to be pampered on the wedding day.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENTS
We will always be in contact with our brides, any questions or changes can be sent by email. We will always touch base before the wedding as well. You will also receive a COVID screening form 24 hours before your appointment.
Every appointment booked will receive a reminder email 24 hours before your appointment. Inside your reminder email is your booking information, covid screening form, before and aftercare of services. This will automatically be sent out 24 hours before any bookings.
BEFORE & AFTERCARE GUIDES
We have a specific guide to follow before your makeup and hair appointments. Everyone receiving makeup and hair services for the wedding day must arrive prepared and ready to jump into makeup and hair. Make sure to let everyone in the bridal party know that there are before your appointment requirements to receive wedding day services.
For anyone in the bridal party that is getting makeup and hair is required to come with their hair washed the night before, blow-dried, and smoothed out in order to receive hairstyling services. Anyone in the bridal party that comes with wet hair, will be charged an extra fee to blow dry and smooth out the hair to prep it for their hairstyle.
For bridal makeup, come with a freshly cleansed and moisturized face. Exfoliate with a gentle exfoliating gel (enzyme peel) prior to your appointment. Don't add any new skincare to your routine.
THE WEDDING DAY
Now comes the wedding day, your getting ready location must be spacious, have plenty of natural light and chairs. We will bring our tables and lighting along with our kits.
Once we arrive at the location, we take time to set everything up and then we get started. We use our wedding day plan and schedule to get everyone done in a timely manner. If it is a smaller bridal party, we will have fewer artists versus a larger bridal party.
We like to start off with facials for everyone and curling hair first, then makeup and styling the hair. We will start with the bridal party who needs to be ready first and have the bride second to last. Brides do not go last.
We need about an hour each for makeup and then hair for the bridal party. For the bride we need more time, we like to have all bridal parties in a 5 to 6-hour time frame. Once we are done, everyone will have got into their dresses and then we do quick touch-ups, fix up lip colors and take photos and videos of our work. Once we are all done, we pack up and let you get down that aisle to say your "I Do's."
